About Me

 I am an old soul. 

I love old books, botanical gardens, cups of tea, and freshly baked pumpkin scones with lots of butter.

I love going to farmers market and antique stores, slow cooking and baking from scratch.

 

I am a collector. 

I love feathers, dead leaves, shells and old wooden wine boxes. I love weird tea cups, glass jars and expensive paper...I have so much paper. 

 

I am a perfectionist.

 

I love perfectly sharpened and ordered pencils, clean painting pallets and a well organised sewing box.  

I love a clean kitchen, properly folded washing and a pantry full of labelled jars.

 

I am a nerd

I love Harry Potter.  
I love science fiction movies, documentaries, conspiracy theories and fantasy fiction.  
I have a Physics degree and a Fine Art degree.  (Don't ask my why, I don't have the answer.)
   

 

My Art reflects all of these things in one way or another.  I have spent many years trying to fit into the "artist" mould defined by my time at art school and working in galleries.  But I have slowly come to the realisation that I do not fit into that world.  It's just not who I am.

This website is a place for me to showcase who I am and the art that I make.  It's not made for galleries or museums, it's made for the home.
